Big K.R.I.T is kind of a big deal- Maybe there aren’t too many people familiar with him as a solo headlining act, and rightfully so, as he has usually opened or performed with some of the biggest hip hop artists out there. But don’t be fooled, this man has been producing for years, releasing mixtapes that have garnered critical acclaim, and for good reason. His debut solo studio album “Live From The Underground” was announced last July in 2011 and the album was finally released in September. Following the release of his album, K.R.I.T. co-headlined The Smoker’s Club Tour 2011 with Curren$y and Method Man from October 12, 2011 until November 24, 2011. Now he is headlining his own tour accross the U.S. promoting “Live From The Underground.” We were lucky to catch up with K.R.I.T at the Boulder Theater to check out the man himself and opening act, Casey Veggies.
